Yummy Gluten-Free vegan energy balls!

No time to bake? Well 5 mins prep and 5 mins to roll and decorate if you wish and hey presto you are done!


All you need is a food processor!



For the energy balls

  • 1 cup / 90 g / 3.2 oz coconut flour

  • 1/2 cup / 70 g / 2.5 oz almonds or cashews

  • 2 tbsp agave syrup or coconut syrup

  • 2 tbsp almond butter

  • 2/3 cup / 150 g / 5.3 oz soft, pitted dates

For decorating (optional)

  • desiccated coconut

  • cacao powder


Pop all the ingredients into the food processor and pulse for 2-3 minutes. Take mixture out with a teaspoon or your clean fingers, roll into balls. Place on parchment paper or roll in cocoa powder or desicated coconut first. Place in refrigerator for 30 mins to chill. Store in a container in the refrigerator for a week or a month in the freezer.
